Recipe Chocolate chip cookies:




NOTE: This quantity of Ingredients Makes about 3 dozen cookies .

Ingredients :

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks (8 ounces) salted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips


Preparation :

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

 3. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. 

4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

 5. On low speed, beat in the flour mixture until combined.

 6. Fold in the chocolate chips.

 7. Place 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

 8. Bake until golden brown, 7 to 9 minutes.

 9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
